New user training events

After a break of around 12 months, a number of People Inc. mini-sessions were scheduled during September. These included a look at the free downloads on the resources page (focussing on reports), an overview of the features and benefits of People Inc. version 3.5, how to configure the Employee Self-Service module, how to generate e-mail using People Inc.

Further mini-sessions have been scheduled in the coming months. These include:

• Using Filters to select information in screens (9th October)
• Pension auto enrolment via the Employee Self-Service module (6th November, 7th November)
• Absence year end (4th December)

User Training

A number of centrally run training courses have been organised to cover these areas of the system in more detail. These are intended for intermediate users and cover the following topics:

• An introduction to report writing (18th September - course full)
• An introduction to screen design (2nd October - course full)
• Using the query builder in filters, letters and e-mail (16th October)
• Report Writer basics (27th November)
• An Introduction to the Screen Designer (20th January - provisional)
