RFID

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) uses radio waves to capture information. Typically, a system will have two components, a reader (linked to an antenna) and a tag (which may be part of a card or otherwise embed). Tags can work in one of two ways, active tags contain a power source to transmit, passive tags are powered by the reader’s output. Normally in time and attendance system passive tags are used.
