CV (Curriculum Vitae)

A CV (curriculum vitae) is a document produced by an applicant for the purpose of applying for a new position or professional membership. CV’s include details of academic achievements, carer development and other information that may be useful.

The terms CV and resume can typically be used interchangeably although a CV may be considered to imply a more complete record of achievement, especially within academic circles.
